Beautiful again. Also, your author's note was very moving. You have always been amazingly gracious and willing to laugh at yourself when people poke fun of the genre you pretty much single-handedly created, or at least brought to prominence, but here is the thoughtful and profound response to those criticisms which I think it would do some people good to hear.
And on a lighter and rather tangential note, but I think it might amuse you, apparently I too am Frodo this year - I came down with a nasty debilitating but unspecific virus-like thing on March 13th which lingered on and on, and my husband kept joking that I couldn't expect to get better until March 25th. Personally, I blame him for jinxing my recovery, since indeed it was only on March 25th that I turned the corner and started to feel better. He's now taken to calling me "Mr. Frodo"; I shall have to think of an appropriate revenge :-)
