TTT EE Notes - And A FilkSong of Sorts :)
Well, the additions, such as they were, were nothing to write home about...nothing I noticed new on the Frodo front, at least.
But I finally realized what the PJ movies are:
PJ'S FANFIC!!!!
Hee hee hee. Yes, I realize I'm much later than the average hobbit in realizing this, but hey.
At any rate...I did enjoy myself, though I slipped out twice during duller parts to avoid being uncomfortable during the Frodo bits, few and far between as they are in TTT.... And I don't regret doing so!
But readers will pleased to know that a pleasant little bunny or two nibbled on my toes during tonight's showing, including an Eowyn/Frodo bunny, so...look for more fic to come from yours truly in the near future. :)
Now, to get some rest before diving back into the Big Bang tomorrow....
And thanks for the kind reviews of my Tuesday Treatfic...yes, Frodo is definitely in for plenty of TLC, poor lil' sickly hobbit. ;)
And now, to close out the evening, a semi-filk song I wrote tonight before the film, in honour of our favourite ol' blue eyes himself.... ;D (Prolly a dubious honour, but hey!) Try singing it to "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music and you've got the tune (and the idea!)....
MY FAVORITE THINGS: The Febobe Edition
Frodo with chills and then Frodo with fever,
Laid up with smallpox or cut by a cleaver,
Frodo half-frozen and Frodo with wings,
These are a few of my favourite things...
Bitten by spiders or beaten and battered,
Blind, ill, or starving, his mind really shattered,
Falling or crying or burdened by Ring(s),
These are a few of my favourite things!
When the dog bites,
When the bee stings,
When he's feeling sad -
I simply remember my favourite things,
And then Frodo feels SO BAD!

PJ'S FANFIC!!!!
Yep. That's how come I am able to enjoy them in spite of the parts I don't like.
TTT doesn't have as much extra "good stuff" as the other EEs, I must say. But mostly TTT is about Helm's Deep from PJ's perspective. And there weren't any hobbits there.
And at least Sam got his oliphaunt!
