I love eating tuna sandwiches when there's relish mixed in with the tuna. And no hot dog is complete without relish!
My favorite pickles are those huge ones that I grew up calling Kosher pickles, so sour and crispycrunchy. The more 'pickled' (sour) the better, since that's the way my dad made them in that crock in the garage.
I love imagining the hobbits teaching the cooks in Rivendell (or Minas Tirith) how to make pickles.
