I'll try to have a little surprise for you later, but it depends what time we get in from the singing. . .there are people coming over this afternoon after all, so I can't count on then to do it, so. . .it may be officially *after* your birthday England-time before I get it done, but it would still be your birthday here. . .would it be all right if we prolong the celebration a little? :D

I just want to take this opportunity, though, to say what a blessing you have been in my life and how exceedingly thankful I am to have you for a friend/"big sis." I did nothing to deserve anyone as wonderful as you, and every day I am in awe of how very blessed I am. At times I may not always show it as much as I'd like or should, but please know that you are one of the most special people in my whole life, and my only regrets in our friendship are (a) the times I haven't behaved in the way that a friend should, (b) the time lost to health issues interfering in our time together, and (c) the distance between our homes! If I could, I'd squish the map and move us right in close together! :D But since I can't, know that I plan on getting to you one of these days, as soon's I can.
