I'm a pickle lover with the exception of the sweet ones. Really don't like it when I get one when I'm not expecting it. The sourer the better. Best ones are the tubs of pickles in chunks you get at Jewish delis. You usually get at least two kinds, one kosher and the other so lightly pickled that you still discern the cucumbers.
