Hate to say it, but things aren't looking good on the laptop front. :(

It's looking increasingly like I may have to try and zap everything off to a flash drive, then get a new one. Oy vay. KILLS me.

Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry. I've had to put computers back together (lost hard drives completely) four times over the past years, and it's always challenging and time consuming. Don't blame yourself, we can't wrap all our electronics in bubble wrap and protect them forever; things happen.
